![]() ![]() Neither Wingefors nor Embracer's report explicitly state that Little Nightmares 3 won't happen with Tarsier Studios at the helm. As such, Wingefors said that with Little Nightmares II out the door, the crew " will move over to create new IPs, and I'm super excited, and that was the main reason we made this acquisition a bit over a year ago." However, since it's an IP owned by Bandai Namco, the likelihood of Tarsier returning to the series seems low. Going forward, however, Tarsier will " focus on creating new IPs." Embracer Group's CEO, Lars Wingefors, confirmed as much in a webcast, expressing his excitement at how well Little Nightmares II is being received. But it seems Embracer isn't only interested in Tarsier's bit-sized horror adventures, given the publisher's faith in the development team's ability to explore new avenues. We know that the game was harshly criticized before launch, but perhaps the various betas have convinced some fans to give the controversial spinoff a chance. There are no professional critic reviews available for Metal Gear Survive at the time of this writing, and so it's hard to tell how it is being received. It definitely seems as though Metal Gear Survive is delivering a lot of content, but the question remains if that content will be worthwhile. The achievements/trophies reveal that there are at least two maps for players to explore, in addition to a number of people to recruit, items to craft, and more.
